How far does one charge go?

Typical is 27–36 holes on a full charge, and it charges from a standard wall socket overnight. The four green dots on the deck tell you what's left at a glance, so you're never guessing on the back nine.

Is it hard to ride if I've never used one?

No. It has three wheels, not two — one at the front, two on a wide rear axle — so it doesn't need balancing the way a normal scooter does. You stand on, thumb the throttle, and it stays upright on its own when you step off to play your shot.
